Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
Serena attended the Institute of Chinese Medicine in Santa Fe,NM from 1998 to 2001 where she studied acupuncture, Chinese herbology and tui na. Serena completed her program with an internship in Chengdu, China and graduated as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine.
Acupuncture
Serena uses her knowledge to bring acupuncture to an enhanced level. After inserting the needles, Serena uses vibration to stimulate the points with acutonics (a wellness therapy that utilizes tuning forks calibrated to healing frequencies) and didgeridoo. This technique send beneficial vibrations and tones through to specific meridians.
Chinese Medicine
As a Doctor of Oriental Medicine, Serena diagnoses her clients and has a complete Herb pharmacy and shop to provide you with herbs immediately. The shop is located on the main floor at A Wild Purple Ranch where Serena provides her services.
Reflexology
Serena will also assist healing of her clients with reflexology... a healing foot massage that effects different problem areas of the body.
La Stone Massage
La Stone massage is a special blend of hot and cold stones that improves physical health and realigns the body with the earth energies . The alternating of temperatures, called thermotherapy, has long been known to boost the immune system and soothe aching and sore muscles. Serena combines aromatherapy, healing sounds and loving touch with the wisdom of the stones.
Sound Healing
Serena is a musician and has studied acutonics and other forms of sound healing through the Kairos Institute of Sound Healing. Through vibration we start to understand the interconnectedness of our existence. A greater perspective on the nature of the universe and its frequencies opens us up to appreciation and joy. Serena utilizes musical instruments, toning and tuning forks to create a meditative and healing space for the body, mind and spirit where profound change can occur

For 27 years, Serena has studied movement and dance. Her training involves modern, jazz, acrobatics, gymnastics, martial arts, middle eastern dance and fire dance.
Serena’s passion for the art of dance has developed in her a deep connection with the physical body, rhythm and the subtle energies.
This deep connection is at the core of her healing practice.
